Marc Fager, Ph.D.
Dr. Marc A. Fager is a program coordinator at the Center for Children and Families in Monroe, LA. As part of his work at the Center, Marc supervises two programs that work within the school setting and alongside the Office of Community Service. Marc received his doctorate degree in marriage and family therapy in 2004 from the University of Louisiana-Monroe. He has worked in both in patient and out patient settings and specializes in adolescent substance abuse and group counseling.
Marc’s has expertise in working within the creative arena of adventure based learning. He brings the elements of connectivity and energy to the group setting which creates the opportunities for dynamic experience. He is steered by the originality that exists within each individual and looks to bring forth the inner gifts of those involved in his groups.
Marc is working as a contributor to this website and will be adding his own unique thoughts and experiences.
Marc shares a love and passion for working with families toward healing and change. He is a strong believer in Christ and he attempts to live out his faith in whatever forum he may be presented.
